How do I promote products?

Your first step is to Sign-up. Next, you’ll want to Add and verify a PayPal email address. Once you’ve done that, have a look around the products using the various categories and/or the search bar at the top and grab your promo links!

When do I get paid?

Instantly! All the vendors listing products on RAP Bank participate in the instant commissions model using the Rapid Action Profits script or our List-N-Earn service. What this means is, you don’t have to wait a month or even two weeks to get paid on your efforts. Instead, the customer pays you when it’s your turn (i.e., every other sale on a product offering 50% commisions), directly into your PayPal account.

How do I get paid?

Since all RAP Bank listed product owners have RapidActionProfits as their sales, affiliate and marketing system, or use our List-N-Earn service, the commissions are paid the same way that RAP is setup to pay out of the box – which is the following (in summary to keep this short):

On products where the affiliate commission for selling a product is less than 100% (ie. 50%, 65%, 80%), the very first commission from any particular affiliate goes to the product owner. Then on the second and each there after, the affiliate is paid based upon how many times they’ve been paid and how many times the admin/owner has been paid, and maintains a corresponding ratio directly based on the commission set. Sales are paid in full to the vendor, one of his/her equity partners, or the affiliate.

On products where the affiliate commission for selling a product is 100%, all commissions are paid to the affiliate promoting the product.

How do I add my products?

There are TWO ways…

Purchase/Own RAP

If you already own the Rapid Action Profits script(*), simply download the free RAP Bank Addon(**), install on your domain and enter an unregistered license key from those available to you. Once your products have been automatically imported, you then have a chance to modify the descriptions, assign categories and tags, etc. before submitting for approval.

Use List-N-Earn

As of May 2010, we created a way to remove all barriers to getting products listed on RAP Bank and it’s extremely easy, low-cost and [most importantly] extremely profitable without having to purchase RAP (saving you hundreds) – it’s our new service called List-N-Earn.

How do I get one of those cool yellow boxes in my description?

These are created in your product description and exist as a means to provide affiliate-specific information that only logged in members will see. That way you can keep your affiliate pitch out of the product sales pitch.

Here’s how you do it. At the bottom of your message, after describing the product benefits, include any text meant only for your affiliates between [aff] and [/aff]

How do I feature my products?

As a VendorPlus member, you have the ability to feature one product-per-domain (as a RAP owner) and/or one List N Earn product. This enables you to gain more exposure by having your images displayed prominently in the featured products sections throughout the site as well as on the 404 page(!).

To select a product to be featured, simply go to the appropriate product listing from within the Affiliate Center (either My RAP Products or My Equity Partner / List-N-Earn products) and click the “make featured” button next to the product of your choosing. You may change the selected product at any time.

How can I offer discounts / coupons on my RAP Bank products?

Why use Discounts / Coupon codes to draw affiliates and sales!?

This is a powerful way to bring attention to your product as we promote products with discounts in emails and on an exclusive report – available for VendorPlus members only. Affiliates are always looking for a unique selling opportunity – and discount coupons (being exclusive to only VendorPlus members) offer this in a major way.

Create a new coupon within RapidActionProfits in your RAP Admin

Create a coupon for your particular RAP product within your RAP Admin, and wait for our update to occur – every 4 hours – when it pulls any available coupons into RAP Bank for you to easily *check* and use immediately for all RAP Bank affiliates!

Use already created coupons within your RAP installation

If you already have coupons established for your RAP product, then go to the affiliate center – edit your product accordingly. Once you’re in and editting your product – scroll midway down the page and simply *check* which discount options you want to make available for people to use in promoting and buying! Once *checked*, click “Submit for Approval/Update” – and it’s automatically added to our Discount Coupon Report.

What are the submission criteria?

First and foremost, we obviously won’t be accepting offensive materials, including pornography or content promoting illegal drug use. Additionally, we give the original product creators preference over those selling the same products by way of resale rights (be that RR, MRR, or PLR) and only allow vendorplus members to do so at all. Both may be listed, however, if the resale rights owner has essentially created a different package by way of bonuses or combining products. The owner’s price shall not be undercut. In the case of Private Label Rights (PLR), if a product has been significantly modified so as to make it your own, then it is. We may ask for the list of changes, if it’s not obvious how they differ.

How do I get additional license keys?

You’ll need to purchase a domain pack.

How do I get all those fancy features?

As a free user, RAP Bank lets you list your products, find and promote others, and view your affiliate stats all in one centralized Affiliate Center. In addition, there are graphs of sales and trends, the ability to promote RAP Bank — and the products listed — by sending traffic here with your link, and the option of featuring a product per domain. These extra features are available thru a low-cost, monthly subscription to RAP Bank.

What’s the Index mean in the product listing?

This number is a proprietary calculation designed to show at a glance which products are being highly promoted by affiliates with good results. It’s also a weighted value, which figures recent trends more heavily, so you can be sure it reflects the latest and greatest. In general, the larger the number, the better. However, keep in mind, new products, with no sales history, start at 0, and may well be poised to take off, you never know.

Why do some people have little images by their names?

Depending on the location, they may only show for upgraded members. In other spots, however, such as the comments or the Newest Members list, everyone has the chance. These little mugshots or company logos are known as gravatars (globally recognized avatars) and are based on your email address. You can upload your own by going to Gravatar.com and creating an account there or adding a new email to associate with an existing account. Not only will you see them on RAP Bank, but also as you post comments on others blogs, etc..

What’s the deal with these “points?”

For now, these are just a way to show off who’s a regular on RAP Bank, both in terms of contributions (products, comments, reviews) and daily visits — great for visibility. We have other ideas for the future regarding how you might be able to cash them in for valuable spotlights, etc.. Stay tuned!

Why haven’t I received my password or PayPal verification email?

Most likely, the automated email was eaten on the way to your inbox. With any luck, it will be in your spam folder, but sometimes it will even be filtered prior to that!
